Standing in Awe of God's Peace.
Today, I stand in awe of what it truly means to have God’s peace.
I woke up with a knowing deep in my spirit—that no matter what today holds, it is going to be okay. Not because life is suddenly easy, but because God has already carried me through worse. He continues to carry me through every trial, every storm, every unknown.
He is with me when I walk.
He is with me when I sleep.
He is with me when I cry.
He holds me when I am weak.
He strengthens me when I stumble.
And when I fall, He catches me.
Giving God complete surrender is hard. I won’t pretend it isn’t. I am still unlearning old habits and behaviors—still laying down parts of myself I know He is asking me to change. Yet, every single day, I feel Him making me stronger. I see His hand shaping me gently, patiently.
I feel the God I call Father pouring grace over my life—and over my children.
When I look at who I was two years ago compared to who I am today, there is no comparison. I am walking in freedom. Real freedom.
God humbles me when I need correction, and He corrects me because He loves me. I now find myself pausing, asking, “What would God want?” I feel a holy ache when I haven’t spent time with Him—not guilt, but longing. A desire to be close to the One who loves me perfectly.
For the first time, I truly feel the love I so desperately craved as a child… and even as an adult. The love I searched for in people—the love I clung to, hoping it would heal me—only to be disappointed again and again. That love is now given freely, abundantly, and without condition by my Savior.
This journey hasn’t been easy.
But I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Lord, please continue to soften my heart.
Correct me when I fall short.
Convict me when I do wrong.
Finish the work You have started in me.
I cannot live without Your name on my lips.
I feel sorrow for those who do not know You, Jesus. And I feel righteous anger toward anything or anyone that leads people away from the truth—that denies who You are. You are God. You are Savior. You are Lord.
You are so good to me when I don’t deserve it.
You hold me so tightly, and I never want to let go.
You are my Savior.
My Father.
My Friend.
You are my morning and my evening.
My light in the darkness.
My healer.
My defender.
My protector.
My confidence.
I pray that everyone experiences Your love the way I have—because once they do, they could never deny You.
Lord, I give You my life.
My day.
My everything.
May Your will be done. 🙏✨
