Faith that interrupts Seasons.

This Sunday at CRC Pretoria, guest speaker Pastor Samuel Rodriguez shared a message that pierced my heart — Faith that changes things even when it’s not your time.

He spoke from Mark 5:1–43 (NLT) — the story of two miracles: the woman with the issue of blood and Jairus’ daughter. Both stories reveal a truth we often forget — faith disrupts systems and interrupts seasons.

The woman who had been bleeding for twelve years didn’t wait for permission. She didn’t have it all together — she was bleeding, broken, and busted — but she pressed through. She made her way to Jesus, whispering to herself, “If I can just touch His robe, I will be healed.”

And immediately — she was.
No delay. No ceremony. No perfection required.
Just faith.

Pastor Rodriguez said something that stuck with me:

> “Faith doesn’t wait for your turn — it makes things happen.”



That day, Jesus didn’t touch her; her faith touched Him. And because of that, her story changed.

We’re reminded again and again —
🌾 Faith activates the suddenly.
🌾 Faith interrupts the ordinary.
🌾 Faith changes the future generation.

Jesus said, “Daughter, your faith has made you well.”
And later, He raised Jairus’ daughter with the words: “Little girl, get up.”

Our healing — our breakthrough — isn’t just for us. It’s to awaken the next generation.
Because if our generation keeps bleeding, the next one won’t be healed.

So today, I choose to walk by faith — even when it’s not my turn, even when it doesn’t make sense.
Because my faith will clear the room, take the next generation by the hand, and say,
“Get up.” 🙌
