A Home full of Beds, Blessings and God's Faithfulness.
Tonight, as I sit in the stillness of my home, tears stream down my face — not from sadness, but from overwhelming gratitude. For the very first time, all my children are asleep in their own beds. Beautiful beds. Beds I was finally able to buy for them this month.
Earlier, I walked into their rooms and just stood there, looking around. Their spaces are beautiful, filled with warmth and love, and I couldn’t hold back my tears. For so long I dreamed of this moment — a proper home where my kids could rest in comfort and safety. And now it’s here. God has been so faithful.
This weekend reminded me again of His goodness, even in the hard moments. On Saturday, I was so ill I could barely move, but my stepkids stepped in and helped with the little ones. In my weakness, God’s strength carried me. His Word is true: “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.”
And what a blessing it was to gather this week with my Homecell family. The prayers, the worship, the fellowship — all of it reminded me that the Church really is a shield and a support. God places people around us to walk this journey of faith together, and I am so grateful.
Now, in the quiet, I feel both peace and a touch of sadness. My 3-year-old is fully potty trained. My youngest is off bottles and dummies, already starting potty training too. And it hits me… these little milestones are actually the last times. My last nappy change. My last bottle feed. My last dummy tucked into a sleepy mouth.
It’s bittersweet because they grow so quickly. One day you’re rocking them to sleep, and the next, you’re watching them climb into their own bed with smiles of independence. These moments pass faster than we realize.
But through it all, I feel peace. God’s timing is perfect. Every tear, every struggle, every breakthrough has been part of His plan. He has never left us, and He never will.
Tonight, I rest with a heart full of gratitude. My children are safe, loved, and blessed. And I whisper a quiet prayer of thanks to the God who provides — not just beds, but joy, peace, family, and a future filled with hope.
"The Lord is my Shepherd, I lack nothing." 🕊️ (Psalm 23:1)
