When God Speaks: A Journey From Tears to Triumph.

This week has been one of the hardest of my life. The kind of heartache that leaves you breathless, the kind of trauma that makes you question everything — even God’s presence. I found myself standing in the storm, overwhelmed and exhausted, feeling so far from Him. But here’s the truth: He never left.

In my brokenness, I forced myself to sit in His presence. I cried out, pouring every tearful plea at His feet. And there, in the stillness, He met me. Through scripture, through worship, through whispers of wisdom and understanding, He answered me. He gave me something I could never find on my own — peace. Not the kind that flickers and fades, but a deep, soul-anchoring peace. Joy began to bloom where there had only been despair.

I had spent days depleted, dragging myself through each moment. Yet in just 45 minutes with my Father, everything changed. My energy was restored, my hope reignited, and my faith stronger than ever. It amazes me how quickly we, as humans, can fall into the trap of despair — how easily we convince ourselves that God is far away when He is closer than our next breath. The moment we cry out, He is there.

Matthew 4:4 says, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” I have been meditating on this verse, and it has come alive to me in ways I never expected. God’s Word is life. When we seek Him, when we sit with Him, He breathes that life back into us.

Right now, I’m stepping away for a little while. I won’t be writing or sharing as I follow the path God has laid before me. I’m excited for this journey, knowing that when I return, I’ll be closer to Him than ever. I don’t know all the details of where He’s leading me, but I trust the One who holds my hand.

To the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords — my Father, my best friend, my Savior — all honor belongs to You.

Praise God.
